Every keepsake is a different shape, so the size shown is the longest dimension of your finished piece — not specifically its height, length or width. On a tall, narrow subject that will be the height; on a long, low one it will be the length.

The preview. Your piece is sculpted from the preview you approve, not from your original photo, so what you see on the preview page is exactly what the studio works from. If the preview missed something that mattered in the photo, upload a different photo and generate a new preview before you order. Once production starts, the approved preview is the reference.
That is the point of it. The wobbly lines, the odd proportions and the extra teeth are kept rather than corrected, because those are the parts that make it theirs. You approve the preview before anything is made.
